Privacy
Effective 3 September 2026.
What we store
Your wallet addresses, the handle, picture, bio, and links you choose, your memberships and their status, the balances we read to run the gate, what you post, your points, your RSVPs and progress, and the sessions you open. If you link Telegram, Discord, or an email, we store the identifier needed to deliver notifications.
What we do not store
Private keys, seed phrases, or anything that can move funds. We never ask for them.
Who sees what
Holders in a space see your handle, picture, role, and, unless you hide it, your holdings and online status. Teams additionally see your full address, verification history, and the audit trail of their own actions. comu staff see data only to run the service or investigate abuse, and every such access is logged.
Where it goes
Data lives in our database and file store. Notifications you enable go to Telegram, your browser’s push service, or your email provider. Teams can send webhook events containing your user id, role, and status to endpoints they configure. Chain reads go to RPC providers; they see the addresses we query.
Your choices
Hide holdings, hide online status, hide from the directory, mute channels, and turn every notification channel off from Account. Export your posts as JSON. Leaving a space keeps your points on record; deleting your account removes your profile and unlinks your wallets. Write to privacy@comu.so for a full deletion.
Cookies
One httpOnly session cookie. No third-party advertising cookies. Product analytics, when enabled, is first-party and anonymised at the wallet level.
